A wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths and Veglia instrumentation consisting of an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 140-km/h speedometer, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 95k kilometers (~59k miles), approximately 3k of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The voltage gauge was replaced in March 2022. The amperage gauge is nonfunctional.
The replacement twin-cam inline-four was reportedly sourced from a 105 series GT 1300 Junior and it was overhauled in 2021 and enlarged to 1,400cc in 2021 using Wiseco pistons, Carillo rods, a ported and polished cylinder head, a custom oil pump, and a replacement oil pan and water pump by Besic Motorsports of Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The Weber 40 DCOE carburetors were overhauled at that time. Additional equipment includes a trunk-mounted battery with a cutoff key and a custom Pace Products radiator with an integrated oil cooler. A dyno sheet from November 2021 indicated peak output of 114hp and 97ft-lb of torque, with full dyno results viewable in the gallery. The alternator was overhauled in March 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement five-speed manual transmission that is said to have been overhauled circa 2011. An Alfaholics lightened flywheel was reportedly installed under prior ownership, the differential fluid was changed in 2019, and the clutch was replaced in 2021.
