16″ Borrani knock-off wire wheels are wrapped in reproduction Firestone Cavallino Sport 200 radial tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the suspension consists of an independent front setup with coil springs along with a solid rear axle with leaf springs. Service performed by Northeast Foreign Car Service, Inc. of Norcross, Georgia, in 2015 included two replacement brake servos, a replacement master cylinder, replacement brake lines, and a brake fluid exchange.
Originally trimmed in white, the interior was refurbished during previous ownership with tan leather upholstery, matching carpets and door panels, and a black dash pad. Equipment includes black lap belts, a wooden shift knob, and a Becker Grand Prix tri-band radio, the latter of which was refurbished in 2013.
The wood-rimmed Malvino steering wheel frames factory instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, water temperature, amperage, and oil temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 82k miles, only a handful of which were added by the current owner since 2019.
The 3.7-liter inline-six was factory rated at 245 horsepower and features Lucas mechanical fuel injection, dual overhead camshafts, and two spark plugs per cylinder. Refurbishment work performed during prior ownership included an overhaul of the fuel injection system performed by Power Props in the Netherlands, an engine rebuild, and an ignition system overhaul, and a rebuilt water pump. A replacement Bosch fuel pump kit furnished by Power Props was reportedly installed in 2019. The engine, engine compartment, radiator, and other accessories were repainted during the engine overhaul. The results of a January 2021 compression test are displayed in the gallery.
The last three digits of the engine stamp read *402*, which matches the vehicle serial number and corresponds to the stamped chassis number.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission. The clutch master cylinder was replaced in 2015, and a stainless exhaust system was fitted during previous ownership.
