The cabin features heated and power-adjustable front seats trimmed in black Nappa leather with matching carpets protected by BMW-branded floor mats, and burl wood trim accents the center stack, lower dashboard, and doors. Amenities include cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, a BMW-branded cellular phone, and factory cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted CD-changer. The trim panel and sliding mechanism guides for the sunroof were replaced in November 2020.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and fronts instrumentation including a 190-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a digital odometer indicating just over 28k miles.
The 5.6-liter S70B56 was factory rated at 372 horsepower for the US market, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. An oil service was performed in November 2020, at which time the fuel pump was also replaced.
The exhaust system has been fitted with Dinan mufflers, and the removed factory mufflers are included in the sale. Additional underside images can be viewed in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows history in Florida with no accidents or other reported damage from May 1995 through November 2020. The lien noted on the report was paid off in November 2000.
