The car is said to have been refurbished approximately 25 years ago during prior ownership, including a repaint in its factory Lemon Twist yellow. The seller notes blemishes in the paint in various locations around the car.
Color-coordinated 15″ steel wheels wear dog-dish hubcaps and Goodyear Polyglas GT tires size F60. Braking is by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the car is equipped with power steering.
The cabin features twin bench seats trimmed in black vinyl along with matching carpets and door panels. Equipment includes vent windows, front and rear lap belts, a Hurst pistol-grip shifter, a radio, and a locking glove box. The seller notes the glove box liner and trunk mat show factory markings, visible in the gallery below.
The woodgrain steering wheel frames factory instrumentation including a 150-mph speedometer, a Tic Tock Tach tachometer with an inset clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows just under 50k miles, with true mileage unknown.
The 440ci V8 is equipped with three two-barrel carburetors and was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque. An oil change and inspection were performed in preparation for sale.
Engine stampings shown above indicate the block is a 1970 high-performance 440ci unit produced on November 18. An additional engine stamping showing OA168706 matches the last eight characters of the vehicle’s chassis number and is presented in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission that carries a stamping with the last eight digits of the vehicle’s chassis number. The rear end oil was changed in preparation for sale. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery below.
