Color-matched 16″ steel wheels with chrome Jaguar hubcaps are wrapped in BFGoodrich Silvertown tires. Brake components were replaced during the refurbishment, and the rear leaf springs were replaced in 2016.
The factory biscuit and red interior trim was replaced with two-tone blue upholstery including matching door panels, dashboard padding, carpeting, and trunk-compartment trim.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a center-mounted instrument panel with a reverse-sweep 6k-rpm tachometer, a 140-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer displays just under 70 miles, all of which have been added post-refurbishment and approximately 25 of which have been added by the selling dealer. True mileage is unknown.
The 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six features polished cam covers and is equipped with dual SU carburetors. An aluminum radiator was installed in 2016, the choke assembly was repaired in 2017, and both six-volt batteries were replaced and an oil, filter, and lube service was performed in January 2021. Eight pages of 2016–2021 service records are viewable in the photo gallery below.
The serial number on the cylinder head (W3382-8) matches what is shown on the JHT certificate. The same sequence is observed on the engine block, as depicted in the gallery.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. A stainless-steel exhaust system has been installed. Additional photos of the underbody are presented in the gallery.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate indicates that the vehicle was dispatched to a dealership in Orlando, Florida on August 1, 1951. The factory color scheme and serial numbers for various components are also listed. An in-car driving video is provided below.
