A replacement Scott’s Hotrods chassis was installed during the build, and body panels from a donor truck were also fitted before a repaint in purple over a black base. Exterior details include a 1953-style grille, a smoothed one-piece hood, one-piece side windows, running boards, chrome bumpers, and bed-roll LED reverse lights. A flush-mount billet fuel filler cap is located in the cargo bed, which is lined with wood slats retained by chrome runners. A ding is noted on the right door.
American Racing 20” wheels are mounted with 245/45 Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The suspension has been fitted with coilovers at all four corners, in addition to front and rear torsion sway bars and a four-link rear setup. Braking is handled by Wilwood discs with four-piston calipers and an E-Stopp electric emergency brake.
The custom bench seat and door panels are trimmed in tan vinyl, and a woodgrain pattern has been painted to the dash pad and lower trim panel. A Vintage Air air conditioning system and a Viper security system have been installed, and additional appointments include an Alcantara headliner, a fold-down center armrest, power windows, cup holders, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer touchscreen head unit connected to an Infinity sound system.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit column and fronts a Classic Instruments 140-mph speedometer and combination gauge. The six-digit odometer shows 1,400 miles, and total chassis mileage is unknown.
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 is equipped with a Holley Dominator fuel injection system, a Hi-Ram intake manifold, Billet Specialties valve covers, and a Vintage Air Front Runner mounting system for accessories. The firewall has been smoothed, and a Ron Davis aluminum radiator has been fitted with an electric puller fan. Ultimate Headers four-into-one headers flow into mandrel-bent exhaust pipes with Borla mufflers that exit ahead of each rear wheel.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed 4L65E automatic transmission linked to a Ford 9″ rear axle with a Detroit Truetrac limited-slip differential. A drop-down battery box is mounted to the underside of the truck and features a remote charging port.
