The truck was refinished in Tennessee Blue—a Chrysler color with the codes T13 and PQD—with a white greenhouse at RMR Restorations of Hollis, New Hampshire, circa 2004. Features include a lifting hatch over a drop-down tailgate, sliding rear side windows, chrome bumpers, dual mirrors, and “3100” badging.
Color-keyed 15″ steel wheels are fitted with chrome hubcaps and Michelin LTX M/S tires showing date codes from 2003 or 2004. Power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering and power front disc brakes were installed during the refurbishment.
Seats trimmed in blue and white vinyl feature lap belts and a 60/40-split bench up front with a forward-folding hinged seat on the passenger side for access to the rear compartment. Billet sill plates protect hidden steps beneath both doors, and color-keyed steel surfaces including those on the dash and the doors are contrasted by a gray headliner and black floor coverings. An uninstalled Bluetooth-equipped radio and kick panels with 4″ speakers are included in the sale.
An AutoMeter billet instrument panel with chrome trim features a 120-mph speedometer and a quartet of auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 2k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller; true chassis mileage is unknown.
Aft of the front seats is a compartment with two rows of seating for five additional occupants.
The 383ci stroker V8 is a replacement engine based on a 350ci GM small-block that was installed under previous ownership in 2004. The engine breathes through a dual-plane aluminum intake manifold topped by a Speed Demon four-barrel carburetor with an open-element air cleaner and ceramic-coated headers flowing into a custom dual exhaust system. Vortec cylinder heads are filled with 9.1:1 hypereutectic pistons, and internals include heavy-duty connecting rods, a Chevrolet Performance hydraulic roller camshaft, and a “4340” forged steel crankshaft. The oil reportedly was changed in December 2020.
