Chrome 18″ American Racing wheels are mounted with 235/40 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires up front and 305/45 Nitto NT555 Extreme Drag tires out back. The fabricated steel Art Morrison chassis incorporates tubular front control arms, a four-link rear suspension, and adjustable JRi coilovers. The car has been fitted with power steering, and braking is handled by a Hydroboost power brake system with Wilwood calipers over drilled and slotted rotors. An E-Stopp electronic emergency brake system was fitted under prior ownership.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats trimmed in tan leather upholstery with diamond-patterned inserts that extend to the door panels. The car was re-wired under prior ownership with a Painless wiring harness, and additional interior equipment includes air conditioning, a center console, a dash-mounted clock, power windows, and a RetroSound stereo connected to JBL Audio speakers.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River column and frames a Dakota Digital 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The digital odometer indicates 670 miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The Vortec V8 was overhauled under previous ownership and fitted with a SCAT stroker rotating assembly, a GM Performance camshaft, and LS3 cylinder heads. The engine is said to displace 408ci and features a Magnuson supercharger, a Holley Dominator EFI system, a custom air intake system, a Griffin aluminum radiator, Chevrolet-branded valve covers, and tubular exhaust headers. An engine dynamometer sheet is shown in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission and a 9″ rear axle. The car is fitted with a Precision Torque 2,500-rpm-stall torque converter as well as a custom dual exhaust system with Borla Pro XS mufflers.
