Chrome 16″ knock-off wire wheels are fitted with Blockley radial tires measuring 185-16″ at all four corners. The car is equipped with a four-wheel disc brake system, and the brake master cylinder, pads, and calipers were replaced approximately one year ago according to the seller.
The interior features seating upholstered in red leather with a matching dashboard, carpeting, and door panels. Features include lap belts for the front occupants, a dash-mounted shifter, and pop-out rear quarter windows.
The black four-spoke steering wheel fronts centrally mounted Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer displays 3,600 miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the seller. The seller states that the odometer was replaced, and total mileage is unknown.
The 3.8-liter DOHC inline-six was rated at 220 horsepower when new and features dual SU carburetors. An oil change and coolant flush were performed in addition to a carburetor balance check and tune in preparation for the sale. Modifications include a Pertronix electronic ignition system, a solid-state fuel pump, and a negative earth conversion. The seller notes that the “Otter” switch for the choke mechanism was replaced within the last year.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission that was reportedly sourced from a late-50’s Jaguar sedan. The seller states that service in 2021 included a transmission fluid change and a differential oil change. Additional underside photos are displayed in the gallery below.
