Kelsey-Hayes turbine-style 15″ wheels feature three-eared knock-off-style caps and wear 205/75 Michelin X radial tires that were fitted in 2008. A steel spare fitted with a BFGoodrich Silvertown tire is stored in the spare tire well, and the removed spare Kelsey-Hayes wheel is included in the sale and shown in the gallery below.
The interior features black upholstery with a matching dashboard, console, and carpeting. Equipment includes power steering, a vertically mounted Delco AM/FM radio, manually operated windows, and lap belts. A plaque noting participation in an event held by the Jersey Corvette Club in September 1977 is mounted on the center console.
Factory instrumentation consists of a tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, supplementary gauges, and the non-operative five-digit odometer that shows approximately 1,600 miles. Total mileage is unknown. According to the seller, the radio emits a low level of sound for which a replacement speaker and transformer is included in the sale.
The 327ci L75 V8 was rated at 300 horsepower from the factory, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a Powerglide two-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end. The engine was last serviced with oil change, chassis lubrication, and completed state inspection in Summer 2020.
The engine stamping includes the digits 113123, which match the vehicle’s serial number. Additionally, the HP suffix corresponds with the L75 327ci engine equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and a two-speed automatic transmission.
Additional photos are presented in the gallery below showing the suspension, chassis, and driveline, as well as corrosion on portions of the mechanical components.
