White 14″ steel wheels wear chrome-finished VW hubcaps and are mounted with 195/75 Travelstar UN106 whitewall tires that are said to have been mounted in preparation for the sale. The bus left the factory with Grid Grey leatherette upholstery (83), and it now features two-tone green cloth and vinyl. Interior amenities include lap belts, a VDO clock, and rubber floor covering. Seating for seven is enabled by a walk-through cab with divided front seats and two rows of bench seats in the back.

The air-cooled single-port flat-four is said to displace 1.5 liters and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts. The carburetor is said to have been rebuilt in January 2021, at which time the oil was changed and the gaskets for the valve covers and the intake manifold were replaced.
