Silver 15″ Rallye wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and a mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white letter tires measuring 245/60 up front and 275/60 outback. The car is fitted with power steering, welded subframe connectors and torque boxes, front and rear sway bars, and performance torsion bars. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The tires were installed in 2022 and the rear wheel was widened to 10″.
The cabin features front bucket seats reupholstered in black vinyl with purple pleated inserts. Equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, a rear bench seat, a center console, an overhead console, woodgrain trim accents, Barracuda-branded rubber floormats, and a Boss CD stereo with Bluetooth capability. Sound-deadening material and replacement carpets are said to have been installed under current ownership.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a multifunction gauge, and an analog clock. The oil pressure gauge does not work. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 17k miles, approximately 15k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 440ci V8 was installed under previous ownership and features an Edelbrock intake manifold, electronic ignition, a performance camshaft, a trio of Holley two-barrel carburetors, Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, roller rockers, tubular headers, and an aluminum radiator with electric fans. Work under current ownership is said to have consisted of installing the carburetors and aluminum cylinder heads, and replacing the temperature gauge sending unit and electric cooling fans. An oil leak is noted at the oil pan.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission and an 8¾” rear axle with a limited-slip differential and 3.91:1 gears. The transmission is said to have been rebuilt under current ownership and reportedly features a shift kit and a performance stall converter. A driveshaft loop and a Pypes dual exhaust system have been installed.
