The 440ci V8 is equipped with triple Holley two-barrel carburetors and was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque. Work performed since October 2021 reportedly included installing a PerTronix electronic ignition in addition to rebuilding the carburetors, changing the engine oil, and replacing the following parts and components:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Dana 60 rear axle with a Sure Grip differential and 3.54:1 gears. The differential gasket and fluid were replaced in August 2022, according to the seller.
