Steel 14″ wheels feature polished covers with body-color centers and are wrapped in older Michelin Symmetry tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. An inspection carried out in September 2021 by Huber’s Imported Car Service in Golden Valley, Minnesota noted the left inner tie rod boot is ripped, the stabilizer bar is broken, a power steering hose leaks, and the center drag link is worn.
The seats are upholstered in Parchment MB-Tex, and the cabin features a matching dash pad and door panels along with salt-and-pepper carpets. Amenities include wood trim on the dash and center console, a Becker push-button radio, a heater, and an analog clock. A previously fitted air conditioning system was removed and is included in the sale.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a refurbished instrument cluster including a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a vertical combination gauge with readouts for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 84k miles, approximately 24k of which were added by the current owner. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.8-liter inline-six was factory rated at 168 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque and was rebuilt in 2008. In September 2021, Huber’s Imported Car Service performed a pre-purchase inspection that noted an engine oil leak, steering gear oil leaks, a transmission fluid leak, and a leak at the rear differential.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. A replacement exhaust system is installed, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
