Manually-locking front hubs, a front sway bar, and a Sweets power steering pump with a Borgeson steering box are fitted, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums linked with a Wilwood Hydroboost hydraulic booster. The truck retains front coil and rear leaf springs, and Bilstein shocks have been installed. The seller reportedly replaced the U-joints and ball joints.

Additional equipment includes a four-point roll bar, diamond plate door and side panels, a locking center console with cupholders, carpeted floor mats, new retractable three-point seat belts, and a Vintage Air under-dash A/C unit. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission, a replacement high-capacity rear driveshaft, and a Dana 20 two-speed transfer case fitted with a JB Custom Fabrication twin-stick shifter, the latter of which is said to have been overhauled during the refurbishment. The truck is equipped with Dana 44 front and Ford 9″ rear axles, which have been resealed and fitted with new bearings. The axles were also serviced, and the frame was media-blasted and refinished in enamel paint over epoxy primer. A rubberized undercoating has been applied to the underside of the body.
