Multi-spoke 16″ Alpina-style wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich G-Force Super Sport tires. The car features four-wheel disc brakes, updated sway bars, lowering springs, and Bilstein shocks. The brake calipers have been painted yellow and overspray is visible on the backing plates.
The interior is finished in blue vinyl and was refreshed under current ownership. Work included reupholstering the upper and lower dashboards, refurbishing the wood trim, recovering the kick panels, and installing a replacement headliner, door seals, sunroof panel, seat belt holders, dashboard and instrument cluster pads, and a radio delete panel.
The Nardi wood-rimmed steering wheel with a BMW center cap frames replacement instruments including a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a replacement 3.4-liter M30B35 straight-six that is said to have been installed by La Jolla Independent BMW Service in California under previous ownership. A Motronic 1.3 engine control unit is fitted, and the oil was changed in preparation for sale.
