Silver-finished 14” wheels wear BMW logo hubcaps and are mounted with 195/70 Michelin Defender tires. A matching spare is housed in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering and four-wheel disc brakes, which were reportedly serviced under current ownership. The shocks are also said to have been replaced and the wheels powder coated.
The cabin features front bucket seats and individual rear seats that have been reupholstered in red leather, along with color-coordinated carpets and door panels. Appointments include wood trim, power windows, three-point front seatbelts, and a Blaupunkt CD stereo linked with replacement speakers on the parcel shelf. The seller notes the air conditioning is inoperable and wear is visible on the driver’s seat.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 48k miles, approximately 10k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The 3.0-liter M30 inline-six is fitted with dual carburetors and sends power to the rear wheels through a Getrag five-speed manual transmission, which was reportedly installed in 2012. According to the seller, the radiator was re-cored, the clutch hydraulic cylinders were replaced, a tune-up was performed, and the coolant hoses were replaced under current ownership.
