A portion of the front bumper was replaced following a collision in a parking lot in 1990. Coupeking 16″ Alpina-style wheels wear Continental ExtremeContact tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back. The car is equipped with Bilstein shocks, and the front and rear springs were replaced under current ownership.
The cabin was refurbished in 2018 and features a reupholstered dashboard, rebuilt and reupholstered seats in tan leather, Dynaliner sound insulation under the carpets and inside the doors, replacement carpets, a Nardi steering wheel and shift knob, and matching wood trim. Additional equipment includes Coco mats, and a Continental CD stereo paired with a JL Audio amplifier and speakers. The air-conditioning system was updated with dual Spal condenser fans and converted to R134a refrigerant under current ownership, and photos documenting the interior refurbishment are shown in the gallery below.
The Nardi steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, ancillary gauges, and a clock. The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.0-liter M30 inline-six is mated to a later M3-specification five-speed manual transmission that was installed in 1993. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
