15″ Volvo ATS alloy wheels are wrapped in 185/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The suspension is modified with Bilstein shocks along with an IPD front and rear sway bars, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs with braided stainless-steel lines.
The seats have been reupholstered in blue leather, and contrasting replacement carpets were also installed. Equipment includes a locking center console glovebox, air conditioning, and an AM/FM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a dashboard housing a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 211k miles, and the speedometer cable was replaced in 2007.
The 2.0-liter inline-four was balanced and blueprinted during the refurbishment according to the selling dealer, and it is equipped with hardened valve seats, a polished valve cover and oil cap, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. The Bosch D-Jetronic electronic fuel injection system was also overhauled during current ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement four-speed manual transmission with a Laycock de Normanville overdrive. Additional photos of the underbody are provided in the gallery below.
