The 400ci V8 is fed by a two-barrel carburetor and was serviced by the selling dealer with replacement of a bent pushrod as well as a carburetor rebuild and an oil change. The fuel tank was reportedly drained and the fuel pump replaced along with the check valve in the brake booster. A bottle jack is mounted to the left inner fender.
Power is sent through a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and 3.50:1 solid axles, the rear of which was equipped with a limited-slip differential from the factory. Corrosion on underbody components is shown in the gallery below.
