The 14″ “Bundt” forged alloy wheels were also refinished and are mounted with Michelin XWX tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes and a self-leveling hydropneumatic suspension system, which is said to have been serviced with replacement nitrogen canisters and adjusting the leveling valves.
The blue leather upholstery on the seats was redone during the refurbishment and is complemented by darker blue carpeting and trim as well as burl wood accents on the dashboard, center stack, and console. A Bluetooth-equipped McIntosh CD stereo has been added along with McIntosh speakers and a trunk-mounted amplifier. Other amenities include automatic climate control, a sunroof, and power windows.
A four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of factory VDO instrumentation that includes a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and a combination gauge. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 37k miles, less than 400 of which have been added under current ownership.
The numbers-matching 6.8-liter M100 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection as well as dry-sump lubrication, and output was rated at 250 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque when new.
