Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs wheels with black centers and polished lips wear Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back and showing 2017 date codes. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs, and the car is fitted with factory Bilstein shocks along with front and rear sway bars. The wheel bearings were adjusted in April 2021.
The cabin is trimmed in Cork with a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include a center console, power windows, a rear-window defogger, and a Blaupunkt cassette stereo.
A leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a VDO tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, a pair of two-in-one combo gauges, and a clock. The six-digit odometer shows 30k miles, approximately 200 of which were added during current ownership.
The 3.0-liter flat-six is equipped with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and a front-mounted oil cooler and was rated at 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque when new. April 2021 service consisted of adjusting the valves, timing, and idle speed along with replacement of the alternator belt, the valve-cover and oil-sender gaskets, the spark plugs, and the plug wires.
Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Service in preparation for the sale included de-burring and resealing the shifter shaft and replacing the shifter and shift-rod bushings. Additional photos showing the floor pan as well as the brakes, steering, suspension, and drivetrain components are presented in the gallery.
