The decals will be removed prior to the sale, and rust on the right-front corner can be seen up close in the gallery, along with photos of the included pickup bed and cover.
The 20″ steel wheels are mounted with 365/80 Continental MPT 81 tires, with the rear units reportedly installed in February 2021. A matching spare wheel is mounted out back. The truck is equipped with ZF power steering, the suspension features coil springs at all four corners, and braking is handled by four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes with air brake assist. New rear hub seals, front shocks, tie rods, and a drag link are said to have been installed in December 2020. A 58-gallon fuel tank is fitted, and a dual battery setup and an under-body air compressor system are also present.
The roof features a diamond-plate steel platform housing a locking gear box, a bike storage system, solar panels with a SRNE charge controller, and GPS antennas.
The cabin features Recaro front seats on custom tracks trimmed in gray patterned cloth. Insulation, gray carpets, a headliner, and a custom engine doghouse were fitted under the seller’s ownership, along with custom tiger maple wood trim and an overhead console. Equipment includes an in-truck aviation-style communication system, an ARB refrigerator and freezer, a WeBoost cell signal booster and antenna, a backup camera system, and a Webasto diesel-powered cabin and battery box heater mounted under the rear floor.
The Grant GT steering sits ahead of a 3k-rpm tachometer, a 120-km/h speedometer, and a multi-function auxiliary gauge. An iPad and Garmin Overlander GPS systems are mounted atop the engine cover. Just under 116k kilometers (~72k miles) are said to show on the six-digit odometer, 45k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.7-liter OM352 turbodiesel inline-six received fresh fluids in December 2020. The engine was fitted with an eight-blade turbo compressor with custom intake and exhaust manifolds in 2015, along with a custom downpipe, oil feed line, and EGT setup. The coolant tank and oil drain were also relocated.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a dual-range six-speed manual transmission and locking front and rear differentials. The transmission was reportedly replaced in 2008. The seller reports that the portal units on this truck are equipped with optional Super Fast axles, allowing the truck to cruise at speeds in excess of 60 mph. A custom 3″ stainless steel exhaust system is fitted.
The rear storage locker features aluminum bodywork over a tubular frame and houses an 82-gallon water tank, an outdoor hot water shower system, a 24-volt freshwater pump system, and two propane tanks.
The matching trailer is based on a Schutt US Military M1102 unit and was fabricated by the seller’s company in 2018. The body was constructed using aluminum and chromoly steel. It rides on 37″ Goodyear Wrangler MT run-flat military tires and features a fully independent progressive rate trailing arm suspension, a tubular steel axle, and hydraulic surge brakes with automatic breakaway actuation. Additional features include dual 100 amp hour BattleBorn Batteries, a Sterling Power ProCharge marine battery charger with global AC input, five 115-watt solar panels with a Renogy Rover MPPT controller, an Acuva LED water filtration system, and an Alucab 270-degree shadow awning.
