Bright 15″ wheels are mounted with 30×x9.5″ Hankook Dyanpro tires in need of replacement. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, and braking is handled by power-assisted front disc and rear drums. A full-size spare is mounted below the bed.
The reclining low-back bucket seats are upholstered in patterned gray cloth. Woodgrain trim accents the dashboard, and the carpeted floors are protected by Toyota-branded all-weather floor mats. Air conditioning, a tilt steering column, and an AM/FM cassette stereo with a Parasound booster and graphic equalizer are additional appointments.
The padded three-spoke steering wheel is misaligned according to the seller and frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Additional readouts for oil pressure and voltage are mounted below the dashboard. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 36k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership.
The carbureted 2.4-liter 22R inline-four was rated at 100 horsepower and 129 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
