Silver-finished 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels are wrapped in 205/65 Pirelli P4 tires. The car is equipped with front and rear independent suspension along with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
The cabin is upholstered in Palomino leather (274) with burl wood accents on the dashboard and center console. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, central locking, a folding center armrest, a Becker Grand Prix stereo, power windows, and Mercedes-Benz-branded floor mats.
A four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset analog clock, and a combination gauge indicating coolant temperature, oil level, instant fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 27k miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 5.5-liter M117 V8 is equipped with Bosch fuel injection and was rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque when new. Service performed in November 2020 by Mercedes-Benz of Rochester, New York, included draining and cleaning the fuel tank and replacing the air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs, drive belts, and fluids. Subsequent work is said to have included conversion of the air conditioning system to utilize R134a refrigerant along with installation of a replacement fuel tank, sending unit, hood insulation, distributor cap, steering damper, lower ball joint boots, and ignition wires.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery below.
