The B7 is equipped with Alpina/Bilstein springs and dampers as well as M5 four-piston disc brakes, and a brake fluid flush was reportedly performed in April 2021. According to the seller, the front brake pads and discs and brake booster have recently been replaced.
The cabin is equipped with heated front sport seats upholstered in black leather along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Additional equipment includes power windows and mirrors, an onboard computer, a wooden shift knob, a rear sunshade, a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 with DAB, and air conditioning, which has recently been serviced and recharged. The seller notes the leather seat coverings have been conditioned with Leatherique, and the trunk-mounted battery was recently replaced.
The leather-trimmed four-spoke Alpina steering wheel frames a 300-km/h speedometer, a 7k rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 139k kilometers (~86k miles) approximately 1k of which were added during current ownership.
A plaque located on the center console lists Alpina B7 Turbo/1 serial #0243.
Alpina modified the 3.4-liter BMW inline-six by reprogramming the Motronic fuel-injection system and fitting a revised cylinder head, lighter Mahle pistons, a revised camshaft, and a KKK turbocharger. Claimed output when new was 320 horsepower and ~375 lb-ft of torque. According to the seller, maintenance completed during current ownership included replacement of cylinder head gasket, camshaft, and fluids. Results of a compression test are shown in the gallery, and a stamped service book is included in the sale. The car has not passed a California emissions test.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Getrag 265 dogleg five-speed transmission. A replacement Alpina exhaust system with dual sport catalytic converters is fitted. Additional underside images are provided in the gallery below.
