Staggered-width convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 at the rear. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs with ABS, which was introduced to the 328 in the middle of 1988 model-year production. A brake fluid flush was performed in May 2022.
The bucket seats are trimmed in beige leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated center console and door panels. Carpeted floor mats line the footwells, and interior amenities include a gated shifter, power windows, air conditioning, a rear-window defroster, an Alpine CD stereo, and aftermarket speakers. The air conditioning system was repaired and the refrigerant was recharged in 2022.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Ancillary gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted above the radio along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 24k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder to produce a factory-rated 270 horsepower and 223 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in May 2022 and the timing belt was replaced in October 2019 at Maranello MotorWorks in Northglenn, Colorado. Service records from Maranello MotorWorks can be viewed in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
