The bodywork is finished in Formula Red (R77) with a black roof, and equipment includes integrated fog lights, a rear spoiler, and dual chrome exhaust outlets. The pop-up projector beam headlights are shown in their raised position in the gallery below, along with close-up images of noted flaws.
Forged alloy wheels measure 15” in diameter up front and 16” out back, and they are mounted with Falken Ziex ZE912 tires that measure 205/50 and 225/50, respectively. The car is equipped with a traction control system, anti-lock brakes with NSX-branded calipers, and four-wheel independent suspension with forged aluminum wishbones at each corner. The anti-lock pump assembly was replaced in May 2021 along with three wheel nuts, and a brake fluid flush was performed.
The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in black leather with a matching dashboard, center console, and door panel inserts. NSX-branded floor mats line the footwells, and additional equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, serialized NSX-logo sill plates, a Bose cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. The air-conditioning system refrigerant was recharged in May 2021.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames instrumentation consisting of a 188-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 12k miles, less than 600 of which have been added by the seller.
The 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and titanium connecting rods, and it was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. Service in May 2021 included a valve adjustment and replacement of the timing belt, water pump, camshaft cover seals, filters, belts, spark plugs, and fluids.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1002842 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap ring failure range. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
A copy of the window sticker lists initial delivery to Ed Martin Acura of Indianapolis, Indiana, colors and equipment, and a total price of $61,600. Service records are also included in the sale and shown in the gallery below.
