The injection-molded composite bodywork was designed in-house by Alfa Romeo while the vehicles were built by Zagato. This example is finished in Rosso Alfa (130) with a contrasting gray roof and features a rear spoiler, side marker lights, and Zagato fender badges. Aftermarket rear window tint was removed under the seller’s ownership.
The 18″ Image Billet 41 phone dial-style alloy wheels were refinished in silver under the seller’s ownership, and they are mounted with 255/35 front and 255/40 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires. The bottom-hinged trunk houses a spare wheel with a Continental temporary use tire. Aftermarket coilovers were added at all four corners under previous ownership, although a hydraulic pump for the factory adjustable suspension system was fitted under the seller’s ownership. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood calipers over slotted rotors up front and inboard-mounted discs out back.
The interior features bolstered bucket seats that were installed under the seller’s ownership, and they are trimmed in tan leather with embossed Zagato Design headrests. Three-point seat belts, a shift knob sourced from an Alfa Romeo 75, Zagato-branded floor mats, and a trunk-mounted amplifier were also fitted since the seller’s purchase, and additional equipment includes red door panels with tan inserts, air conditioning, power windows and door locks, and a black dashboard housing a Sony CD player. The seller notes that the passenger window rolls up and down slowly.
The replacement MOMO steering wheel fronts a carbon-fiber panel housing Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of a 280-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows over 15k kilometers (~9,500 miles), approximately 800 kilometers of which were added under current ownership.
The serialization plate on the center console notes that this example is SZ #401.
The 3.0-liter Busso V6 features an aluminum block, a single overhead camshaft per cylinder bank, and Bosch fuel injection. Replacement ignition wires and silicon radiator hoses were installed under the seller’s ownership, and a 2021 service reportedly included the installation of a new timing belt, a Centerline tensioner, and water pump as well as a valve adjustment.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a rear-mounted five-speed manual transaxle. Corrosion is noted on underside components.
