The body is finished in Grand Prix White and features a black fixed roof, pop-up headlights, an integrated rear spoiler, tinted windows, and dual polished exhaust finishers. The Carfax report notes a November 2000 accident resulting in damage to the front of the car. The seller states that the NSX was rolled into by a second car that had been involved in a collision at an intersection. Subsequent repairs included replacing the front lip and refinishing the front bumper. Photos of the incident and the body shop invoice can be viewed in the gallery.
Factory 15″ and 16″ wheels wear 205/50 front 225/50 rear Hankook Ventus V2 Concept2 tires that show a mix of 2020 and 2021 date codes. A factory space-saver spare wheel and tire are stored in the front compartment.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats trimmed in black leather along with a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panels. Amenities include cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Bose sound system with a trunk-mounted CD changer. A shift knob from a later NSX has been installed.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 9k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 41k miles, approximately 10k of which were added by the seller.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter DOHC V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The following components were replaced in February 2021:
Additional service performed at that time included flushing the brake and clutch fluids and degreasing the engine and engine bay.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle case, snap ring, bearings, and seals were replaced under warranty by Frank Leta Acura in 2002. Additional images of the underside can be viewed in the gallery below.
