The exterior features aluminum body panels finished in Alpine White with black fender flares, and equipment includes a body-colored external roll cage with a roof-mounted basket and rear ladder, a front brush guard, side steps, and alpine windows. A placard on the rear of the truck indicates it is #184 of 500. The Carfax report lists fire damage in November 2006, and the front fenders were removed and repainted in 2017. The bulkhead was also refinished at that time.
Factory 16” steel wheels have been refinished to match the body and are wrapped in BFGoodrich Trac Edge tires. The shocks were replaced in March 2021, and the front brake calipers, pads, and lines were replaced under current ownership.
The interior features front bucket seats upholstered in patterned gray cloth, and equipment includes an interior roll cage, air conditioning, rubber floor mats, a locking center console, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. Dynamat sound insulation is installed around the replacement battery box assembly and on the floors around the transmission tunnel and center console.
The rear cargo area features four fold-down seats with lap belts.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. An analog clock and additional gauges displaying battery voltage and oil pressure are centrally mounted in the dashboard. The six-digit odometer shows 124k miles.
The fuel-injected 3.9-liter V8 features aluminum construction and was rated at 180 horsepower with 227 lb-ft of torque when new. An engine bay fire occurred in 2006, and the engine was rebuilt in 2017 by TRS Automotive in Calgary, Alberta. Over $34k of work included a cylinder head and block reconditioning as well as the replacement of the timing chain, wiring harness, drive belts, ignition components, radiator, crankshaft, and more as detailed on invoices shown in the gallery below. Power is sent to all four wheels through a replacement R380 five-speed manual transmission that was installed in 2020 and a dual-range transfer case with a locking center differential. The exhaust was recently repaired, and a service was carried out.
