Factory 15″ steel wheels wear Rolls-Royce-branded covers unique to the Anniversary Edition and are mounted with Hankook Optima H724 thin-whitewall tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs with ABS, and the car rides on electronically controlled independent suspension. The braking system was said to be serviced in anticipation of the sale.
The cabin features power-adjustable and heated front seats upholstered in Magnolia leather (A3997) and Dark Blue (A4133) piping that extends to the rear seats and door panels. Dark Blue (98) carpets are accompanied by burl wood veneer accents on the center console, dash, and doors. Additional appointments include automatic air conditioning, cruise control, embroidered floor mats, an AM/FM cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer, as well as rear picnic tables, a driver’s door pocket with accessories, and a passenger door pocket all unique to the Anniversary Edition.
A plaque located in the glovebox identifies this Corniche as #13 of 25 Limited Edition examples produced for the model year.
The airbag steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer and a 5k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature are mounted in the center of the dash. Ancillary gauges in the center stack include an analog clock, an ambient air thermometer, and a readout for battery voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 4,700 miles.
The 6.75-liter V8 features Bosch fuel injection and engine management and was factory rated at 241 horsepower. An eight-year service was performed in anticipation of the sale, along with replacing the fluids and hoses, servicing the cooling system, and repairing the fuel tank sending unit. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a GM-sourced 4L80 four-speed automatic transmission that was fitted with a replacement transmission control in anticipation of the sale. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
