The 17″ BMW Style 21 wheels wear directional “throwing star” covers and were recently fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Stopping power is provided by red-finished calipers and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The cabin is upholstered in black leather, and amenities include heated power-adjustable front seats, wood trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, an onboard computer, a car phone, BMW-branded floor mats, and a factory cassette player linked to a trunk-mounted CD changer. The headliner was recently reupholstered.
The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer has 51k miles, approximately 35k of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.6-liter S70B56 V12 was factory rated at 372 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Recent service consisted of charging the batteries and performing an oil change.
