Staggered-width 18″ Turbo Twist wheels wear Sumitomo HTR ZIII tires, and curb rash is noted on the left rear wheel. A European-specification M030 sport suspension kit was installed in 2004, and braking is handled by cross-drilled rotors with red four-piston calipers at each corner. The power-assisted rack-and-pinion was replaced in December 2020, and a four-wheel alignment was performed at the same time.
The cabin features bolstered Recaro front seats trimmed in black leather with a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Additional appointments include Turbo-script floor mats, an aluminum shift knob and parking brake handle, air conditioning, power mirrors and windows, and an aftermarket Alpine CD stereo connected to a trunk-mounted CD-changer, a JL Audio amplifier, and Boston Acoustics speakers. The cruise control does not work.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel displays wear along its top edge, as shown in the gallery. VDO instrumentation consists of a tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline flanked by a 200-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and a clock. The digital odometer shows approximately 64k miles, 42k of which were added by the seller.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was factory rated at 408 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque when new. Both turbochargers were replaced and an oil line kit was installed in July 2019. The hood and hatch struts were replaced that same year.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The exhaust system has been fitted with Fabspeed muffler bypass pipes. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery.
