ARB bumpers have been fitted, and the front bumper includes a brush guard, Hella driving lights, recovery hooks, and a Warn electric winch with a covered roller fairlead. Factory 16″ alloy wheels wear 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires with 2017 date codes. Power-assisted disc brakes are found at all four wheels.
Gray vinyl upholstery shows wear on the driver’s side. A compartment housing the battery and a bottle jack is located in the driver’s seat base. An aftermarket stereo in the center console plays through JL Audio speakers in the doors and rear cabin. A factory air conditioning unit, a hands-free microphone, and a Cobra CB radio are mounted below the dash. The 110-mph speedometer contains a digital odometer showing 66k miles, approximately 4k of which have been driven under current ownership.
The rear cabin houses four sideways folding jump seats with lap restraints. Carpet mats line the floors and inner fenders. A spare set of rubber Land Rover floor mats is included in the sale.
The 4.0-liter Rover V8 is said to be a replacement installed under previous ownership at 42k miles. The powerplant features an electronic fuel injection system, distributorless ignition, and engine management that was revised for 1997 and produced 182 horsepower with 232 lb-ft of torque when new. A 2017 service at North Texas British of Dallas, Texas included installation of stainless steel oil cooler lines as well as and replacement of the fan clutch, an O2 sensor, the spark plug wires, and the brake master cylinder.
Power is routed to all four wheels through a ZF four-speed automatic transmission and a full-time dual-range transfer case. Safari Gard covers are fitted on both differentials. The front swivel balls were rebuilt during the seller’s ownership, and new exhaust pipes were installed in preparation for the sale.
The sale includes an original sales invoice, a case of owner’s literature, three sets of keys, and spare parts as well as service records that are said to cover from 1997 onward.
