Seven-spoke 15″ alloy wheels were reportedly mounted with Cooper tires in August 2022 and powder-coated white in preparation for the sale. The Type R received larger-diameter disc brakes at each corner, and the car has been fitted with Tein FLEX Z coilovers. The seller states that the brake pads and rotors were changed in January 2021, while the power-steering rack and pump were replaced in October 2021.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in black cloth with microsuede inserts and contrasting red stitching. Appointments include air conditioning, a digital clock, and power windows and locks as well as a Jensen touchscreen stereo. The seller notes that the clutch pedal stops were replaced in May 2021.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 117k miles.
The 1.8-liter B18C5 DOHC inline-four features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 195 horsepower and 130 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the timing belt, water pump, and related seals were replaced in February 2012, the starter motor was replaced in May 2015, the valve cover gasket was replaced in April 2016, and the upper and lower radiator hoses were replaced in December 2021. Per the seller, the spark plugs and the distributor cap and rotor were changed in January 2022.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The seller states that the transmission mount was replaced in May 2019 and the transmission fluid was changed in June 2021, while the driver-side CV axle was changed in November 2021.
