Additional equipment includes fog lights with covers, a rear wiper, power-folding side mirrors, a cherry blossom red Pleiades grille emblem, a “22B STi” trunk badge, an STi branded exhaust tip, and tinted windows. Photos of paint meter readings taken from around the body are viewable in the gallery.
Factory 17″ gold-finished BBS alloy wheels are wrapped in 235/40 Dunlop Direzza ZII tires showing 2019 production codes. The car is equipped with red-finished STI brake calipers and the ProDrive-tuned suspension includes factory Bilstein shocks, a quick-ratio steering gear, and a carbon fiber strut tower bar. An alignment is said to have been performed earlier this year.
The manually-adjustable Recaro seats are upholstered in black cloth with blue inserts, red stitching, and STi-embroidery on the front backrests. Amenities include automatic climate control, air conditioning, a leather shift knob with red stitching, power windows, and STi door sill covers. A serialized plaque designates this car as #156 of approximately 400 produced for the Japanese market.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel with red stitching frames white instrumentation that includes a tachometer with a 7,900-rpm redline and a 180-km/h speedometer. The digital odometer indicates 40k kilometers (~25k miles), around 100 of which were added by the seller.
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.2-liter EJ22G DOHC flat-four was factory-rated at 280 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 268 lb-ft of torque at 3,200 rpm. The timing belt and water pump were replaced in January 2021 by Arcflash of Bend, Oregon. A replacement cat-back exhaust was also installed at that time and the intake manifold was powder coated. A receipt from the work can be seen in the gallery, along with results from dyno testing performed at that time.
Power is delivered to all four wheels via a close-ratio five-speed manual transmission with a driver-adjustable electronically locking center differential. Additional underside photos are available in the image gallery below.
