The car is equipped with front and rear double-wishbone suspension, and braking is handled by ventilated discs at all four corners.
The cabin features power-adjustable seats trimmed in black leather along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets protected by NSX-branded floor mats. Amenities include cruise control and automatic climate control, as well as an aftermarket sound system consisting of a Clarion touch screen stereo with integrated navigation and a rear-view camera system, Hertz component speakers, and an Audiomobile subwoofer. According to the seller, the driver-side air vents do not blow cold, the factory trunk-mounted disc changer is inoperative, and the glovebox door hinge is broken.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 188-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer indicates 128k miles, approximately 22k of which were added during current ownership.
The 3.2-liter C32A V6 was factory rated at 290 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out service was performed in 2010 by AutoWave Inc. in Huntington Beach, California, and included resurfacing the cylinder heads, powder-coating the valve covers, fluid changes, and replacement of the following parts:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The custom exhaust system is equipped with a MagnaFlow muffler and tips, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery along with service records.
Manufacturer’s literature and a red ScienceofSpeed car cover with a storage bag are included in the sale, as are service records dating back to 2009.
