Chrome Shadow 18″ Style 65 wheels are mounted with 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were installed in June 2022. The car features Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with All Season Traction, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs measuring 13.6″ and 12.9″ front and rear, respectively. The front lower control arms and front sway bar links were replaced and an alignment was performed in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features black Nappa leather covering the heated power-adjustable front sport seats, door panel inserts, center console, and lower dashboard, while burl wood trim accents the upper dashboard, center console, and upper doors. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, navigation, and a remote six-disc CD changer. Wear is noted on the driver’s outer seat bolster.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an M-branded 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just over 38k miles. The instrument cluster was replaced at Braman BMW in Miami, Florida in October 2007.
The 4.9-liter S62 V8 is equipped with individual throttle bodies and double-VANOS continuously variable valve timing. It was factory rated at 394 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 369 lb-ft of torque at 3,800 rpm. The right-side valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals were replaced in June 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Work in preparation for the sale included replacing the driveshaft flex disc, the differential pinion seal clamp, and two of the rubber exhaust system mounts.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in Florida.
