Instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline along with centrally mounted gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 27k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller. A short shift has been installed during the seller’s ownership.
The naturally-aspirated 8.0-liter V10 was factory rated at 450 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Smooth air intake hoses and a Borla exhaust system have been fitted. The spark plugs and ignition wires were replaced and an oil change was performed in March 2021.
The window sticker shows factory colors and equipment as well as an original MSRP of $79,000. A car cover, a Viper neon sign, a Viper flag, manufacturer’s literature, a service manual, period publications, and service records are also included in the sale.
