The multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an M-branded 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The 4.9-liter S62 V8 is equipped with individual throttle bodies and double-VANOS continuously variable valve timing. It was factory rated at 394 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque when new. The alternator, water pump, and thermostat were reportedly replaced in 2013 and the cooling system is said to have been flushed in 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The clutch and flywheel were reportedly replaced in 2013, and the differential is said to have been resealed in 2017.
