The two-door hardtop body is said to have been repainted white under current ownership, and spray-on bedliner material has been applied to the interior of the truck bed. Equipment includes a brush guard, a front winch, a rear receiver hitch, towing shackles, dual fuel tanks, and external storage compartments. A Rigid Industries LED light bar has been added up front along with two spotlights out back. Brackets and wiring for additional lighting are fitted to the roof, and a radio antenna mast is mounted behind the cab. Various blemishes and imperfections can be seen in the gallery below.
Black-finished 17″ cast-aluminum wheels are mounted with 37×13.5″ Toyo M/T Open Country tires. The H1 features inboard disc brakes with ABS as well as a Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS), which allows the tire pressure to be changed via switches in the cab.
The interior houses manually adjustable ISRI Isringhausen bucket seats trimmed in black cloth upholstery accompanied by a gray center console, upper dash, and door panels. A Kenwood head unit and a Cobra CB radio are connected to aftermarket speakers. Further amenities include cruise control, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. Control knobs are missing, and wear on the upholstery and other interior trim is viewable in the gallery.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 3,400-rpm redline accompanied by a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 25k miles, approximately 159 of which have been covered under current ownership.
The clamshell composite hood hinges forward to reveal a Detroit Diesel 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8. Factory rated output was 190 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and helical gear-reduction hubs. Limited-slip front and rear differentials were fitted as standard equipment on the H1, and this example features an electrically actuated locking rear differential. Corrosion is visible on underbody components, and additional underside pictures are presented in the gallery.
