A total of eight NSXs were delivered new with a red-on-red color scheme, just three of which were produced for 2005. The interior features power-adjustable bolstered seats upholstered in red leather with perforated inserts along with matching carpets and NSX-branded floor mats. Amenities include cruise control, a digital clock, a factory Bose cassette stereo, and automatic climate control.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a black leather-covered dashboard. Instrumentation includes a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, and four auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 18k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.2-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was rated at 290 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque when new. The timing belt was replaced by Acura of Reno in March 2019, at which time the valves were adjusted, the spark plugs were replaced, and the oil was changed.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.
