The 18″ and 19″ BBS cast aluminum wheels wear Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The independent double-wishbone suspension features coilover monotube shocks in addition to front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power is provided by red-painted Brembo calipers and cross-drilled rotors all around.
The doors curve inward to form portions of the roof and open to reveal Sparco-designed seats with carbon-fiber frames and GT40-inspired ventilation grommets. The central tunnel is topped by an aluminum center console with rotary climate controls. Amenities include air conditioning, remote keyless entry, and a CD stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of a bank of toggle switches and GT40-inspired instrumentation including a central 8k-rpm tachometer, an offset 220-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, boost pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 4,900 miles. The driver and passenger airbags were replaced in September 2019 as part of a recall.
The mid-mounted 5.4-liter V8 features an aluminum block, cylinder heads, and pistons, as well as a dry-sump lubrication system, a Lysholm screw-type supercharger, and a water-to-air intercooler. Factory-rated output was 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ricardo six-speed manual transaxle and a helical limited-slip differential. The seller states that the output shaft bolts and washers were replaced as part of a recall in June of 2008.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Varsity Ford, two factory options, and a total MSRP of $149,445. It is included along with two keys, a car cover, manufacturer’s literature, and delivery documents.
