The mid-mounted 4.3-liter F136 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and a dry-sump lubrication system for a factory-rated output of 483 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 automatic transaxle with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The shift-actuator assembly is said to have been replaced, and service records from 2019 and 2020 are provided in the photo gallery.
A door-jamb placard indicates that the car was constructed in October 2006, and another plaque in Arabic is located in the driver’s door jamb. It is noted that F430 models built before September 1, 2006 qualify for Docket No. NHTSA-2006-23699, which applies to “certain nonconforming motor vehicles [that] are eligible for importation” to the United States.
