Black-finished 19″ and 20″ wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes R888R tires. Red-finished brake calipers are paired with cross-drilled rotors at each corner.
The interior is trimmed in black leather with red piping, which covers the bolstered seats, console, door panels, and dashboard. The black carpeting is protected by matching mats with red piping, and the cabin is equipped with automatic climate control as well as a factory stereo, which has a horizontal row of dead pixels. The “28 Formula 1 World Titles” badge on the passenger side of the dashboard shows some wear. A fire extinguisher is mounted behind the passenger seat.
The three-spoke steering wheel features an engine-start button as well as a manettino with selectable driving modes. Paddle shifters are mounted to the column, and instrumentation includes a centrally located 10k-rpm tachometer with an inset digital gear indicator flanked by a 220-mph speedometer. The three auxiliary gauges display metric units. The digital odometer shows approximately 31,500 miles, about 1,500 of which have been added by the seller.
The mid-mounted 4.3-liter F136 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and a dry-sump lubrication system for a factory-rated output of 483 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 automatic transaxle with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The shift-actuator assembly is said to have been replaced, and service records from 2019 and 2020 are provided in the photo gallery.
A door-jamb placard indicates that the car was constructed in October 2006, and another plaque in Arabic is located in the driver’s door jamb. It is noted that F430 models built before September 1, 2006 qualify for Docket No. NHTSA-2006-23699, which applies to “certain nonconforming motor vehicles [that] are eligible for importation” to the United States. A sticker in the engine compartment reads that the vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA Tier 2 – BIN 5 emissions regulations.
