A full-length Gobi roof rack with dual rear ladders has been added along with PIAA lights up front and additional halogen lighting at the rear. The full-size spare, high-lift jack, shovel, and water cans affixed to the roof rack will accompany the truck.
Beadlock 17″ alloy wheels feature rock guards and Central Tire Inflation System center caps. The wheels are mounted with 37×12.50″ Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires, and the CTIS controls are located in the cabin. All four CTIS valves were replaced to correct leaks in June 2021.
The interior features front and rear bucket seats with black and brown leather upholstery. Carpeted gray mats protect the floors and a lighter tan headliner covers the ceiling, which houses Monsoon speakers. Amenities include heated front seats, heated power sideview mirrors, a heated windshield, power windows, power locks, a keyless-entry system, air conditioning, cruise control, and a compass. A double-DIN Pioneer stereo with navigation has been added in the center stack, and the seller notes that a backup camera is installed but has not been connected. The top-row vents have stopped blowing air.
A three-spoke steering wheel with an H1 horn button frames instrumentation that includes a 100-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. Controls for the exterior lights have been added below the fuel-level gauge. The digital odometer shows just under 23k miles, nearly 8k of which have been added by the seller since 2014.
A lockable toolbox is located in the rear cargo area, and an additional rack is situated across from the toolbox. A gear rack is positioned between the rear seats.
The 2006 H1 Alpha models received a GM Duramax turbodiesel 6.6-liter V8, which was rated to produce 300 horsepower at 3,000 rpm and 520 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 rpm when new. Service totaling $3,754 at Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine, Texas in June 2021 consisted of changing the oil as well as replacing the air filter, water pump, and a power-steering hose.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through an Allison five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is equipped with electronically controlled locking front and rear differentials as well as dual fuel tanks that combine for a total capacity of 51.5 gallons. The seller notes rust on the tailpipe.
An owner’s manual, maintenance booklet, and other literature will accompany the truck. An ax, a pulley, a tool bag, Warn gloves, a tow strap, and a hose for the onboard air compressor also are included.
