The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with an engine-start button and frames a central yellow tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline, a 220-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 13k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the seller.
The mid-mounted 4.3L DOHC V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and a dry-sump lubrication system and was factory-rated at 490 horsepower with 343 lb-ft of torque. Service in July 2021 included replacing the clutch assembly, clutch release bearing, and engine oil.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle, which is controlled via carbon-fiber shift paddles behind the steering wheel, and an electronically controlled differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
