DTM-inspired flared fenders, carbon-fiber-reinforced front and rear aprons, and a carbon-fiber decklid spoiler were added to the CLK63 Black Series. This example is finished in Iridium Silver (775) and features bi-xenon headlights with Active Curve Illumination, rain-sensing windshield wipers, quad exhaust outlets, and power-adjustable and heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Multispoke 19″ AMG wheels are mounted with Continental Extreme Contact tires measuring 265/30 up front and 285/30 at the rear. The car is equipped with an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) as well as an AMG-tuned suspension with adjustable coilovers. Stopping power is provided by AMG-enhanced multi-piston calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. Curb rash is visible on the wheels.
The cabin features bolstered front sport seats trimmed in black leather, which extends to the door panels and center console. The rear seats were deleted in Black Series models, and appointments include aluminum and carbon-fiber trim, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, AMG-embroidered floor mats, a Harman Kardon sound system, COMAND infotainment with navigation, and a glove compartment-mounted CD changer.
The leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a central 200-mph speedometer, an AMG-branded 8k-rpm tachometer, and an analog clock along with readouts for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 14k miles, approximately 2,000 of which were added under current ownership.
The 6.2-liter M156 V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in January 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG SpeedShift automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to the Phoenix Motor Company and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total retail price of $138,375.
