The truck is finished in Natural Green Pearl. Equipment includes a three-piece Freedom Top hardtop, an AEV heat-reduction hood, a Warn 9.5ti winch with a Masterpull Superline, IPF off-road lighting and backup light, AEV corner guards, Sahara side steps, a receiver hitch, and front and rear AEV bumpers.
AEV Pintler 17″ beadlock-capable wheels wear 37×12.5″ Mastercraft Courser MXT tires, and a matching spare is mounted to an AEV swing-out rear carrier. The suspension features an Nth Degree Premium 4.5″ lift with Bilstein shocks and an AEV steering damper. Braking is handled by four-wheel anti-lock discs.
The cabin features AEV-branded leather seats with white stitching along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include automatic climate control, a Kenwood touchscreen head unit, a roll cage, and AEV-branded rubber floor mats. A Shifter ZR4 laser shifter is mounted below the dash, and a Garvin Industries utility rack is positioned in the cargo area.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames AEV-branded instrumentation including a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, a digital display, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 48k miles.
The 5.7-liter Hemi V8 was installed by American Expedition Vehicles in January 2011. The coolant-temperature sensor and the thermostat were replaced in 2021.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission mated to a dual-range transfer case. The Dana 44 front and rear axles feature True-lok electronic locking differentials, and 4.88:1 differential gears were installed during the AEV conversion. A Nth Degree slider helps protect the rear differential.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg, Idaho and lists factory colors, options, and a total price of $37,205. A two-page conversion estimate from AEV showing $40,992 in modifications is pictured in the gallery below.
