Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the truck is equipped with Active Traction Control (A-TRAC). The brake fluid was replaced in October 2020.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a 60/40-split-folding rear bench upholstered in Dark Charcoal cloth. Additional equipment includes a backup camera, a JBL sound system, a CD stereo, cruise control, keyless entry, air conditioning, and front-row all-weather mats. The cabin filter was replaced in October 2020.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer alongside gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A dash-mounted auxiliary gauge pod houses a compass, a gyroscope, and a combination digital clock and outside temperature display. The digital odometer indicates 35k miles, approximately 13k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter 1GR-FE V6 was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking center and rear differentials. The fluids for the transmission and differentials were changed along with the air filter approximately 3k miles ago, and an oil change was performed in February 2022.
